Thermage FLX

Dr. Michael Jacobs offers Thermage FLX treatments at his dermatology practice in New York City. Thermage FLX is the newest generation of Thermage technologies designed to non-invasivley reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Thermage uses a patented radiofrequency technology to gently heat the deep, collagen-rich layers of the skin. This tightens the skin and stimulates the production of new collagen.

The Thermage FLX features a new optimized energy delivery algorithm, known as AccuREP technology. AccuREP automatically measures and tunes the amount of energy delivered to the treatment area. With a new vibrating hand-piece, Thermage FLX helps enhance patient comfort. The larger treatment tip reduces treatment time by 25%.

What to Expect

During treatment, the selected treatment area is treated with a cooling effect for comfort and safety of surface layers. The patient will feel a light vibration against the skin during the treatment. The entire treatment takes about 45 to 90 minutes depending on the treatment area.

Why Choose Thermage FLX

Thermage FLX results can be seen as little as one day after treatment with continued improvement over the next 6 months. The treatment requires no anesthesia and while there may be some redness, most patients may resume regular activities immediately after treatment.

Benefits include the smoothing of wrinkly or uneven skin, better definition of facial features around the eyes, jaw and neckline, and even the smoothing and toning of unsightly bulges, dimples and wrinkles on the face and body.
