Pre-Treatment Instructions

Prior to your treatment appointment, we will provide you with a list of instructions to follow before treatment. These pre-treatment instructions will help make sure each aspect of your treatment is safe and successful. Some pre-treatment instructions may include:

Treatment

Your treatment appointment will involve two main steps. From start to finish, this treatment usually takes about 45 to 60 minutes. For patient comfort, we do offer a topical numbing cream to keep you comfortable for the duration of the treatment, so if you would like to use this numbing cream, please let us know at the start of your appointment so it has time to begin working.

Step One: PRP Creation

The first thing we will do is create the PRP. We will need to do a blood draw–usually an amount similar to what you might give for a blood donation or for regular lab work. Once your blood is drawn, we put the vial into a centrifuge which rapidly spins to isolate the plasma from the surrounding red blood cells. The final product of this process is a thick, clear substance: the PRP.

Step Two: Microneedling With RF

After we coat your skin in the PRP, we will use the handheld treatment device on your skin. You should not feel any significant sensation while the microneedling with RF energy is being performed. Most patients feel a small amount of heat, pressure, or a tingling sensation that lasts only for the duration of the treatment. We will give special focus to any problem areas on your skin.

Post-Treatment Instructions

After your treatment is complete, we will provide you with a list of post-treatment instructions to follow. These post-treatment instructions will help you take care of your skin while it is healing so that you can have optimal results. Some post-treatment instructions may include:
